Hospice is a concept of care which is to provide physical,
social, emotional, and spiritual support for terminally
ill patients and their families. Hospice neither hastens
nor postpones death: it affirms life and regards dying as
a normal process. The Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice
is one of the few hospices left in the state of Illinois
that is still run and operated solely by the passion and
hard work of local volunteers. We strive to give our patients
and families the best possible experience as they progress
through their difficult time.
