Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice is a nonprofit
organization that prides itself in being a volunteer based
hospice. GCVH is one of the last hospices in the state of
Illinois that continues to be a volunteer hospice and one
of the last 200 in the nation. In order to continue our
services, we rely on the community of Grundy County for
members and volunteers.
Volunteers
serve a wide variety of services for hospice. To become
a volunteer, please stop in at the hospice office to fill
out a volunteer form.
Direct Patient Care including respite
and bereavement. Volunteers must take the required Coping
with Loss training class.
